Trachealator

Trachealator

Non-occlusive Airway Dilation Balloon

Innovative balloon construction allows continuous ventilation during inflation

Trachealator construction 1

Catheter is placed across stenosis while in folded condition

Trachealator construction 2

Traditional dilatation balloon catheters completely occlude the airway

Trachealator construction 3

The novel Trachealator
balloon provides an open channel for ventilation

Clinical Experience

  • Ventilation during dilatation was possible in all cases
  • Oxygen saturation was maintained at above 90% in 95% of procedures
  • Stenosis grading and measurements improved significantly
  • Multi-level stenosis and emergency presentations were managed safely
